When Faith Feels Dry

Greetings in the wonderful and awesome name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Firstly, I want to apologize for the past few weeks that I have not posted. But this week, we will be getting into how sometimes we can be in dry seasons during our walk with Christ.  Today's title is: When Faith Feels Dry - Showing up even when it's hard. There will be seasons where your faith feels like a desert - no fresh water, no loud "God moments", no overflowing joy. You'll open your Bible and the words feel flat, you'll pray and feel like your prayers hit the ceiling, you'll worship and your heart won't stir the way it used to. But faith was never meant to be anchored to our feelings. Feelings change with the weather, but God remains constant.  "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever" - Hebrews 13 verse 8  The dry seasons are not proof that God has left you -  "For He Himself has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you...

The Whisper of God: Learning to Hear Him

Good Day my lovely people We are at the third part of our Journey to the Cross Series : The Whisper of God: Learning to Hear Him. Quick question- Have you ever longed to hear God speak, but felt like He was Silent? It's definitely something I think about constantly.  We often expect God's voice to come in huge, dramatic ways - like thunder, visions, or burning bushes. But more often, He chooses to speak in a Whisper. A gentle nudge, a quiet stirring in the heart and in that soft Whisper, we find intimacy with Him. When God Speaks in a Whisper. In 1 Kings 19, the prophet Elijah was discouraged and desperate to hear from God. He stood on a mountain, and the Bible says:  "The Lord said, Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by" Then a great and powerful wind tore through the mountains.. but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake.. but the Lord was not in the earthquake.  After the earth...

Lost But Not Left

Good Day All  I hope everyone is Blessed and ready for this week. Our next topic is:  Lost But Not Left - When You Feel Far From God. There are seasons in your life where you just don't feel God. You pray but it feels like no one is listening.  You read scripture but the words feel dry. You go to church but your heart feels numb. And somewhere deep down, we start to wonder, "Has God left me?" You May feel lost, but you are never left. When God feels Far. If you've ever felt distant from God, you're not alone. Even King David - Known as a man after God's heart - once cried out:  "How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?" - Psalm 13 verse 1 That cry echoes the hearts of many believers. It's a real part of the Christian journey. But what we feel is not always what's true. Feelings can change, but God's faithfulness never does. God Hasn't Moved. "The Lord himself goes before you and will ...

Who is Jesus?

Greetings to everyone... The Day we've all been waiting for. It's the 1st of July, a new month, that surely will be blessed! But without further ado, let us dive into the word of God and let us answer the question... WHO IS JESUS? In a world full of different opinions and interpretations, it's important for us to go back to the source - The Bible - for us to truly understand and unpack, who Jesus truly is. He is not just a historical figure or a religious leader as we'll say, but He is God revealed to mankind, the Savior of the World, and the embodiment of God's love. John chapter 1 verse 1-3 says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made, without Him nothing was made that has been made." verse 14 says, "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth...
